About the Authors

Lisa Drakeman, PhD, was the founding CEO of one of Europe’s most successful biotechnology companies. Under her leadership, the company set numerous financing records, including a record setting IPO, and inaugurated research programs leading to new FDA-approved medicines. She regularly lectures on entrepreneurship at universities in the US and Europe. She received a PhD from Princeton, where she sits on the Executive Committee of the Alumni Council, and serves as President of the Princeton Club of Hilton Head, Scott Foster Chapter.

Donald Drakeman, PhD, was the founding CEO of the US biotech company that pioneered the development of the cancer treatments recognized in the Nobel Prize for Medicine 2018. He is a Fellow in Health Management at Cambridge University, and a Venture Partner at Advent Life Sciences. He received a PhD from Princeton, and serves as the Treasurer of the Princeton Club of Hilton Head, Scott Foster Chapter.
