While most VCs hit “pause” at the beginning of the pandemic, the industry has adapted to the “new normal” and VCs are actively meeting with, vetting and funding startups. However, trends show that while some new founders are getting funded, a large proportion of money is going to portfolio companies and founders who are known to VCs.
